I met Duffy as he was showing a house I found on line and right from that first phone call, his knowledge of real estate, and the area, came through - I didn't realize how much I didn't know and needed to understand before making that big commitment of purchasing a home.

Duffy took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for and as a first time home buyer, he suggestd that I check out the spectrum of opportunities available to me, so that I could best consider my options - we spent an afternoon starting at a condo, then a townhouse, then a small ranch and finally a large house; and as we visited each home - we discussed the pros and cons of each including upkeep responsibility as well as cost/benefit and investment value. I put in an offer for the home I had thought was my dream home, but someone made a cash offer and I was heartbroken. but he promised that something would come along that was actually better for me and he was right. A month later, I actually found another 'dream house', and he came to see it with me and sadly, but thankfully, he showed me the problems he saw (that I hadn't noticed!), that would cost a fortune to fix - cracks in the foundation that had separated - even a crack in the inground pool base, that would basically require starting over. He passed on an opportunity for a quick commission - just to ensure that I ended up purchasing a home that would be a sound investment and that would not cost me more than I could afford to fix and make livable. In the end, we found the log home we have now and we LOVE It! It's funny, Just before purchasing our log home - he called to let me know that the first house I had fallen in love with - that someone outbid me on - had become available - and he said it was mine if I wanted it. But he was right! That wasn't the right house for me, and a way better option was waiting for me! If you need someone on your team who you can trust, I cannot recommend Duffy Brennan highly enough!

All of those experiences were excellent! Duffy is experienced, friendly and very understanding of the emotions involved with buying and selling. The best value of working with him is that he has a solution for every problem. All home closings are very different, and all come with their own challenges. Duffy was always there with an answer to keep us on track and at ease. If you’re in the market for an agent, you should give him a call.

"I responded to one of his listings and his assistant showed the house. I was not working with an agent as I prefer to work with listing agents directly. A few days later after the showing he followed up with me by phone where I informed him I felt the house was overpriced and while nicely decorated the value was not there in the house itself. Thats when he began to interrupt and exaggerate numbers, product, and lose his composure when called out on the misrepresentations he was making. If you are a client that expects professionalism look elsewhere."
